Wolves (A) | PL | Post-Match Thread

I think O' Neil saw the replay and asked the 4th official about offside. He then advised the ref that it was offside. VAR told the ref to look at the monitor because Bernie was not interfering with play.
That is a huge issue for me,

Managers watching replays in the dugout and then challenging the officials.

How the fuck is that allowed.

And the lovely man who delivers my prescription (a Liverpool supporter!) has just said to me what a great goal it was. He didn't think there was a controversy, it was a brilliant header was his remark and he agreed with me that John Boy is a great player. Although he did sort of temper it with 'for the National team'!! ;-)
Imagine having your meds delivered by a Scouser :-)

I'd rather trust Guy Fawkes with my fireworks :-)

I watched MOTD 2 last night and focused on the linesman for the 30 seconds count they did to show how long it took for someone from Wolves to react and I struggled to see any raising of a flag or indeed the referee ruling out the goal.
It makes sense that he overturned a decision as he made the tv sign before pointing to the centre spot but I struggled to see any evidence that the goal had been disallowed before he went across to the screen.
Exactly. I heard the Wolves fans cheering, but the commentators mentioned it without mentioning anything about the goal being disallowed, so I assumed they were just cheering the fact that VAR was checking it.
