Wolves (A) Post Match Thread

Yes we were very sloppy but their goalie, defence and the woodwork saved them many times. That guy Boly who scored against us with his hand was outstanding in defence. Their goalie also was very good. The saves he made against Sterling's shot and Jesus's headers were outstanding!!!

Kompany, Mendy and Ferna were sloppy playing from the back. But honestly Kompany seemed unsettled after his Yellow card. Mendy needs to work harder on his defence.

I don't get why everyone is slating Gundogan. He worked really hard throughout the game. I think we were just unlucky and this will happen from time to time. Also Wolves is on a high so it was always going to be a tough game.

Once we settle into the league and players are more fit then we will be more clinical. I don't think De Bryune would have made any difference, we were just unlucky

VAR in this country would be a joke mate. Sorry, but we would simply have the inept marking the inept. The only way it would work would be to show the crowds on the big screen what is being looked at and to hear the discussions - neither will happen
You have a point , I agree but am just a bit pissed off with the officials fucjing us over right now.

did you, in real time you saw both the offside and handball for their goal? I know I didn't, nor did any of our players
But the whole point of VAR is they can zoom in and slow down from multiple angles to give correct decisions at the crucial goals, penalties etc

Our players shouldn't have to do the official's jobs

Agree totally abt stones. I wonder if Pep dropped him because it was his fault for the Huddersfield consolation goal. Or just a general roataion.
Pep has been guilty a few times of picking players on history and reputation rather than form over the last couple of years.

Most of the time it doesn’t cost us but obviously gets highlighted when we drop points.

Or they held a good line putting both players offside and the officials fucked it up. Can play this game all night but at the end of the day they were offside.

Thought he was sloppy seems slow and not at the right fitness levels required from prem.

I can't recall who i was talking to about not wanting to play newly promoted teams early in the season,i am right as today showed, they are excitedand play to their maximum, fulham and cardiff will be no different,we just have to be on it and not complacent like today
