Wolves (A) | Post Match Thread

Not a very good performance but we accept 3 points and move on. We should improve for the United game.
 
Odd performance, got off to a flyer but Wolves kept finding an easy way out of the press and always seemed to have spare man. Rodri getting booked early didn’t help but he wasn’t getting any help in stemming the Wolves attack. Not sure why. Second half was worse as you would have thought we had ten men at times. The fact Wolves enjoyed 40% of the ball playing with ten men for an hours says something about them and us. Maybe the midweek game didn’t help us but a few players seemed off it today. Still three more points in the bag and the coke dealers must have done a roaring trade in the days leading up to the game judging by the train journey home.

When Laporte gets back Pep will have more than a headache trying to keep all these CB's happy.

Ake, Laporte, Dias, Akanji, Stones. So much quality.
 
that was a very decent result, after the mid week game. I get what some people are saying, some of the passing is below our standard at the moment, but we're cruising to 3 goals wins, it's crackers. Thought Grealish was probably MOTM, ahead of Stones & Akanji. Foden and Bernie quietly got on with it.

Haaland had an odd game, possibly his worst in a City shirt actually (not that he played terribly or anything). He came searching for the ball more than in any other game, and it showed (he provided two or 3 crosses!). He also fell over the ball three times, plus he slightly mishit a couple of attempts. Just thought he looked like he was overdoing it, he looked like some strikers do when they've not scored for 10 games, but he's banging em in. Scary stuff.
