If there's ever been a game where we need to start well, this is it.

If we can blow them away with a couple of goals in the first 25 minutes, with both teams playing <48hours later, everyone will just pack it in and coast. Wolves will save their energy for Liverpool, which is our only hope they get something from that game, we'll just play keep ball and save our legs.

For Wolves:

Foden for Sterling
Rodri for Gundogan

For Sheffield

Sergio For Gabby
Sterling for Mahrez
Zinchencko for Mendy
Cancelo for Walker

Those would be my changes.

In both games if we are leading early by 2 goals, I want Debryune withdrawn minutes 70. Same for Foden.

Pep Guardiola confirms Kevin De Bruyne suffered from 'cramp' against Leicester. David Silva and John Stones will NOT be ready for Wolves.

Pep Guardiola on Wolves: "They are always one of the toughest opponents. Nuno is doing an incredible job. It is one of the toughest opponents at home but away as well. Hopefully we can maintain the good level we have had in the last few weeks."

Pep Guardiola on Wolves and Sheffield United: "The best way is to think about the next game. We’ll see, I don’t think about which players are going to play. Youth have to think about Sheffield United, it’s only 48 hours."

Pep Guardiola on how much time players need between games: "What I know is that less than 48 hours is not the perfect time. Christmas time is what it is in this country and we adapt - no problem."

Pep Guardiola on the job so far: "It’s good. We’re working with the same people. Players change but I didn’t expect much. I was curious to see if we could survive in the Premier League but I came with my family, the friends are the same..."

"I know people at the club, I know more about the competition than before. I tried to settle quick and do the job."

Pep Guardiola on staying longer: "This is my fourth season, next season will be the fifth - I'll try to stay next season. It is a long time. I have answered this question recently many times, I am incredibly good here. I have to see if I deserve a new contract..."

"The level has increased a lot and expectations are higher and we have to see if we can handle it. It is not just up to me. Now we have a break with the family and prepare for Wolves and the rest. We have time to think about it in the future."

The Athletic: Pep clearly means by this that he is looking to leave and is highly unsettled.

This is like every league game between now and the end of the season, this has become a must win game. We cannot afford to drop any more points between now and the end of the season, if we are to stand any chance of retaining the Premier League. I know pep ha said that there will be no new singings in the January window. However we do need another CB and another forward to take some of the wait from both Sergio and Jesus.
