Zinchenko's hardly Maldini either, he's solid but can be easily outmuscled, outpaced or vulnerable to balls over the top. He was magnificant 17-18, got into the Team of the Year (yet still probably didn't get the credit from some quarters that he deserved) but before that season and certainly since then he's been rash, stupid and sometimes comical. He has had all the attributes to be a world class defender, except for a brain.
