We were poor and lacked a cutting edge, they were lucky it has happened before, West Ham once beat us without having a shot on target, thought this one was going to end the same way.

When haalands not scoring its like playing with 10. Which means games when hes missing chance after chance it exagerates thatYou're quite right about what players should be able to do. It's a shame that they seem to have been unable to do it for the last couple of games. We're poor without Rodri, Bernardo and KDB.
As for 'some aspects' of Haaland's game going unnoticed, that's probably because he doesn't display them very often... He's an out and out goalscorer, that's 99.9% of his game. If his supply line is broken, he may as well not play, because the other 0.1% of his game isn't actually very good.
When it comes to contributing to the game during a barren spell, he ain't no Harry Kane, that's for sure.

Left a sour taste ? Maybe those City fans who felt bitter towards him (if indeed there were any) should have remembered he gave up Champions League football with Newcastle to come and join us. He got a better offer from Portsmouth - good luck to him. We were a mid table team at that time.It left a sour taste at the time. I'm sure if Sylvain waved to the fans before a game nowadays he'd get a good reception.

Controversial opinion but this season was always going to be one to enjoy rather than one to expect, we'll win some and lose some
Need Bernado and John Stones back for the Arsenal game . But the other problem is KDB always played well against Arsenal and he was certainly the difference in both games last season. Our current patched up midfield is nowhere near good enough to cope with Arsenal or any other top team . Stones and Bernardo back would be a huge boost but the writing is on the wall if we go with the same team we put out at Wolves .

He had a touchline ban for 3 yellow cards. Which, as my granddaughter pointed out on Saturday must have been bad if they were for this season as he missed some games for recuperation after his back operation!!May have been asked but why was Pep in the stands yesterday, was he banned ?
