Women's Team - 2021/22

Rachel Brown is usually comlimentary about City when we play other teams, so perhaps she was under orders to deliver such a pro-rag commentary .

It was on BBC tv - the adopted home of the rags !
So True, BBC is MUTV. Even BBC live 5 had an ex Rags keeper as co commentator.
But the womens team mirrors the Rags mens team. Hoofball, dodgy goal to get something from the game, impervious to cards with 10 fouls and 0 cards and a poor ref who gave them everything esp the last 15 minutes and 4 minutes of added time from nowhere as they were not winning.

Just seen Georgia's 'tackle' and it was a mirror image of The Ginger Pig's attempted amputation of Zabba's leg halfway down the thigh! Oh dear!
From a totally neutral point of view(as I don't support the women's team), it was really bad. I think her only defence was that it didn't look to me as intentional, it just looked wild and reckless. The Zabba FA-Cup SF one, I get what you are saying, but I'm not sure that was "reckless" if you follow me......

‘Don’t support the women’s team’? Lol. Just out of interest, do you support our EDS and other men’s teams as well, or do you only support the men’s first team?

edit. Or is it that you support another club and are a ‘guest’ on here? (In which case, apologies).

It's my personal opinion that the women's game should be separate(funded through indirect payments from the football league and the EPL), you just need to look at what happened to Charlton, Notts County and Santos to name but three to see that direct involvement, can be really detrimental to Womens teams in question, at the end of the day, as it stands EVERY team in the Womens top flight right now is reliant on the continued success of the male sides and that's not fair on them....(Brighton for example if they drop back into the third tier(which is not unreasonable I think you would agree), do you think it would matter if they had won a bunch of trophies? no they would be reduced and for nothing that they themselves have done).

If you don't support the team(woman's football) why are you arsed?
