Whoever made the shot seemed to find the arms of the Brighton keeper. I think that is one of the biggest differences in the women's and men's games - the men seem to have a far better radar system that finds the empty bits of the net whereas the women are seem more than happy to have got the shot on target.Yet she repeatedly shot at the keepers stomach on Sunday, often when she could have passed to players in better positions.
Worst game I've seen her have.
If that first shot, timed at 21 seconds, had gone in, we'd have had a different tale. Funny how a game of football turns on an instant.

Yes indeed. I would think that 50% of our passes come within the 'easy' category, and I suspect that the mantra pre-match, at HT and the whole week of training is that we keep possession no matter what. Far too often we can have four, five, six or any number of passes and the last one leaves yer pulling out yer hair 'cos it's gone wayward.it's simple really and if you don't buy a ticket you are never going to win the lotto
Maybe it's the coaching side of the game with playing the easy pass and then trying to get around the back and a low cross into the box, Just bloody SHOOT at the first opportunity and if the Keeper saves it or pushes it out or turns it around the post for a corner it will get fans off their bums

Well, i decided as we got the second half underway that if Brighton scored first I was going home. That seems to be the way the Rags, CFC 'n the Arse do it! We appear to add 50% more passes to our game than is necessary.the best way to improve the Womens game is to keep it simple and basic

Basic football over procession football that looks good on the eye
City women's game needs more and more action that the fans can get involved with and bring the atmosphere back
