Lol @the rags celebrating lukaku performance like he was the second coming of Messi bamboozling Brazil's defense. It was decent run but most of the Brazilians were backing off him and hardly challenging him. Coutinho was also tremendously laxed in his defensive duty that time.

Damn what a ride. We had some luck pulling trough, but the boys showed what they are worth. Some superb performances, kev and comps certaintly, but also big thanks to our magnificent goalkeeper who should win that keeper price. Well, a superb keeper is a weapon we have, cutting edge counters is another one.

Martinez has done great for Belgium, and should be deservingly lauded for his changes and the win. He did this one right atleast. Historic win for us, another one in our long unbeaten streak. Bring on France!

Rubbish. Brazil never have much problems with Japan. Mexico usually gives them a hard fight but Brazil still beat them. Too much bashing of Brazil and Neymar. Unlike Spain Germany and Argentina, Brazil actually gave a good account of themselves going out. Just the little things didn't go for them this morning. Fern unlucky own goal off his arm. A few close chances within six yards in first 25 mins that could have gone in on another day. Other good chances when facing open goal missed by Augusto and coutinho.

The only deficiencies are defensively and tactically under par especially first half. Martinez set his team up perfectly to face Brazil especially in counterattack situations. Moving KDB lukaku and bring in Chadli. Tite should have learned from the jap game how belgium countered brilliantly and should have prepared for that better.


Also on corners, curiously Brazil did not bother to stop Komp's run to near post even after the first run resulted in an own goal and another run almost produced a goal from a brilliant flick on by komps.

Just the little things that matter and could have piled on the pressure for Brazil. But other than that, I thought Brazil did their best. Neymar could have a pen after being pushed while airborne going for a header and then there was the debatable foul by komps on gab

I don't like Hazard as a player.
Lots of cheating, plays for himself and did fuck up many good counters when his passes were awful.
Good skills, selfish attitude.

KDB all day long!

Compare to KDB who each time he got the ball weighed up whether or not a pass to a team mate would be a better opti N and as a result sent some stunning through balls in for others.

Time and again Hazard just selfishly tried to do it himself without looking for who was on and wide open - and may have gotten the occasional free kick from eventually being fouled but missed the golden opp to set his team away on a strong counter.

Yes, but most are behind Aguero. That Jesus nutmeg and dart around the Belgian player was exquisite, unfortunate not to get a penalty out of it. He has it in him to improve, if not I'm sure we'll move on.

Personally I think Jesus ran into the prone Kompamy as much as Kompany went into him. Jesus had also definately lost possession of the ball.
No clear and obvious mistake by the ref for me.
