Costa Rica were denied a nailed on penalty towards the end.
Or did you miss that with your selective eyesight?
Yes they were, but as I said before they should have been down to 9 men long before this point. I am not selective, but you seem to keep seeing what you want. The sad thing is Brazil have been denied two of those penalties at key moments and you still try and nobody has bothered to say anything.

They have also been favorited by the referees quite a few times as well, so it does cut both ways.
No they really haven't. They have not been favoured by the ref any more than any other team in the tournament and have probably had the majority of borderline decisions go against them.

The exception was the penalty against Croatia. However, it makes a far better story to claim that the refs have been helping Brazil, especially because they are not a great side and are certainly not a beautiful, fluid, technical team.

Dutch got their name on the Cup. Been poor in every game but Spain, but still in it.

Argentina will wreak havoc with the Dutch defence and if the Argentinians don't go through, Germany will be waiting for them in the final.
Argentina have not wreaked havoc with any defence they have faced. They have been more clinical, but with the exception of the Belgium game, their opponents have created more chances. Now they will probably be missing Di Maria. Will be a great game none the less, but I see the Dutch edging it.

They will have been practicing pens all week. If the sub keeper is miles better than the first choice at saving pens, then it will have been agreed beforehand.

Agree 100%

Don't understand the uproar over a tactical sub. He's not a genius for making it, and he's not being a c*nt for making it.

I'm not in uproar. I couldn't really care less. But I think it was a decision to manufacture a situation where he could be made out to look like some sort of master tactician.

In reality, they are both professional international goalkeepers who had an almost identical chance of guessing right and saving the odd penalty.

My feeling is that the substitution was all about the manager and his ego not increasing their chance of winning.

Maybe it was a case that it was already agreed well in advance. Maybe in training Krul was the better penalty stopper time after time so they agreed if it goes to pens Krul would come on ... The other keeper didn't look shocked at all when he got subbed. I think that tells everyone was on the same page.

Except he guessed the right way for every single penalty. When's the last time you saw a keeper do that?

Probably Shilton in 1990 and the **** didn't save any of them.

Comment from Rag Cafe:

"Is it too late to build a statue of him and change our kit colour to orange??

I don't think it is...Let's do it!"

Wank fest has already started as he's now the chosen one!

I hope Argentina beat them in the semi. It's a bit of a City vs Utd game in my eyes with 3 City players and sky blue kit against the rag manager and rapist robin plus whoever else Dutch ends up over the road.

Hello :)

I'm the guy of RedCafe who made that comment.

Not sure why I'm doing this but, I was clearly being sarcastic and making light of the situation.
I understand you are not fond of United and are bitter towards them etc etc....But, it was clearly a joke.

On the flip side, I like being popular so thanks :D

Are you for real?

I doubt one single person on this entire forum agrees with you.

Robben and Van Rapist, will be afforded far more space against Argentina than they were against Costa Rica, a bit like against Spain.

I hope Demichelis plays again and is on his game.

He nearly fucked it up anyway. If I'd been the ref, I would have just blown for full time for a laugh when he tried making the sub.

Germans and Dutch final. Hate it to happen but seems likey.
Cunts vs cunts.
Germans have the edge and Dutch to be losing finalists 2 WC in a row.

I don't particularly care. I call things how I see them. Brazil have not really gotten the key decisions except one game. Please give examples of all these decisions they should have had against them apart from the pen against Croatia? The only come back is that Fernandinho should have been sent off, but as we have seen time and time again this world cup has been very lenient when it comes to cards.

How about the penalty Hulk should have had against Chile or the red cards Chile should have had?
