I think we are seeing how VAR can be used for fixing outcomes. No review of offside and detailed review of dubious handball. Not saying it is fixed but the decision of what to review and what not to review has decided this final so far

It's probably fixed here at the WC, but it will definitely be fixed in the PL.

VAR - superficially desirable.
VAR in the W/C - overall, seems to be working well.
VAR in the near future - AI will eventually supplant referees.
Officiating in the distant future - AI will do it all.

It would help to understand the real time pace and arm movement but Ok not a requirement. Every pundit, radio and tv bar Wrighty are adamant it wasn't. As is Clattenberg who also understands the laws.

if they v.a.r. d that, quite a lot of the wankers would give it as a foul. Then book Sterling for the same thing. Ronaldo got a pen for it & Neymar might have, if he'd made a better job of diving.
