Easy, we tell them to piss off with any swap deal and offer them cash - clubs only put up swaps for players they WANT to get rid of. We, on the other hand, have no problem coming up with the required cash to buy players - the problem we seem to have is convincing the player to come here. That's going to be just as difficult on a swap deal as it is on a purchase...........
