"Worst moment ever watching City"?!

Paul Lake not moving on the pitch for ages. And ages. And ages. And then his legs moving like he couldnt stop them. Roy Bailey on the pitch, a professional suddenly looking like a professional but in a tracksuit. The silence as it dawned on us this was bad, proper bad, as we all sobered up all at once. Maybe its because of that incident making the phrase more familiar, or because I hadnt it before that day, but hearing 'swallowed his tongue' makes me shudder

What a complete embarrassment that comment was. the guy who made it has NO credibility left, his role is one which should be an honour and its time for him to resign.

Re: "Worst moment ever watching City"?!

My worst moment was laid on a beach in a hot country when I got the text saying we've been bought out buy some multi billionaire. No sky sports, A nagging girlfriend telling me I'm on a family holiday and shouldn't be running around the resort trying to find sky sports news. Getting the kids off to sleep and she's laid in bed expecting a shag and I'm sat up channel skipping watching the repeats of what little sports news a could get.

Oh and relegation.

Luton was the most upsetting.

Appointing Steve Coppell and being left with Phil Neal the most embarrassing.

Vinnie sent off v. the rags being the most angrifying (!) - still seethe about that today.

Stoke away 1998. 2-5 win, relegated. Felt like my world had ended. Ended up being a good laugh in Div2 as it were, nowhere near as bad as I'd have thought it would be. But the feeling of going down to that division at the Brit was truly awful.

probably this and any defeat the following season in the third tier
