Would You drop out of Both Cups for Champs League?

No. I would drop out of Europa to ease the burden but not FA Cup. (To be honest if we dont qualify for CL and get lumbered with that again then I would purposely lose in the qualifying round to make sure we dont have too many games to play). I would take CC more seriously and FA Cup.

If someone said to me you will win the FA Cup then I would fcking take it right now. Success breeds success.

People remember winners not 4th placed teams.

As for attracting players, Money generally does that job.
you're right
i'm sure we all remember pompey winning it two years ago
they are now flourishing in the champs league........

It's a tough one isn't it?

We're all desperate to seem some silverware, yet at the same time only until we've gotten in to the champions league will we be seen as having "arrived" so to speak. Can't we have both?

Yes, If we finish 4th with no trophy, Mancini keeps his job

Finish 5th with a cup, i think we would get rid of him as the objective for this season was to finish in the Champs League.

I would still keep him if we finished 5th AND still didnt win a trophy. We cant get a new manager every year when things dont work out.

Pompey fans will remember it forever!

All this cups will come bollocks is just a statement. When will they come? This year is as good a chance as we will ever have!

i'd prefer the champs league and the potential to see mega stars grace the blue shirt

Simply answere: YES! In the summer we can attract some more players...and i believe next season we will be challenging for premier league title and some more!

No, not for me. Winning that first cup is really important. However with the players we have if they pull their fingers out there is absolutely no reason we can't win a cup and finish 4th or above, it's not like Chelsea and Tottenham haven't got cup issues as well.

Just think if we sacrifice the cups, finish 4th and lose in the qualifier before the end of the transfer window (quite possible), how shit would that be?

What? Where do I sign?!

If going out of the cups meant we were in the group stages of the CL next season (and I stress group stage which would mean top 3 or winning the play off) I would bin the Europa League and the FA Cup right now.

If we get into the CL it's lift off and domestic trophies will follow. If we don't then our best players leave and we are back to fighting tor the League Cup every now and then.

It's a no brainer for me. Qualifying for the CL and doing it this season is arguably more important than just about any other milestone City have ever faced.

If I had to choose now I would want the FA CUP

I have waited long enough to see us win a trophy and I wouldnt want to give that up for a place in another competition that we would be highly unlikely to win on first attempt.

Bring on the Cup

Totally agree
