Writing is on the wall

Getting past the group stages of the Champions League would more than cover that, too.

The financial benefits of a manager making us the dominant force in England and a big player in Europe would be absolutely enormous when you factor in things like sponsorship, corporate revenue, gate receipts etc. You could be looking at £100m over the course of 2 or 3 years. Makes that sort of payoff seem small beer.

The way the Cup is panning out, we are going to have to either play United in a semi or final, unless Everton upset that equation.

Either way, this notion we will redeem our season is still a long shot.

I could see Mancini at Milan or Paris if things don't fall ours and his way.

It's our destiny this year.

Man United in the cup final. Win that one, lose the league to them.

Mark my words.
Fergies swan song hopefully, he retires and Mourinho goes to the dark side.

I heard Bacon has 4 years left on his contract, he will be going nowhere for a few years yet

Stick with Bobby, he will win us more silverware and you can tell he feels something for the club...

Jose is on the wane, thats why he doesnt stay anywhere very long.

Jose's trophy cabinet begs to differ mate. Answer me this, what's the longest Mancini has stayed at a club and what's the longest Jose has stayed at a club?

The sale of Balo. The failure to land any of Mancini's top transfer targets in the summer window. The lack of activity in this window. Maybe his days are numbered?

What was the point in giving him a new contract if his fate was already decided?

Top transfer targets??
RVP...as has been "suggested" many times, he had agreed terms etc with us, but the sticking point was having 4 top strikers still on our books, whereas the quiet ones only had Shrek and 2 wannabes
Hazard...from tweeting that he was coming to Manchester to going to London, it was again "suggested" many times that his agent moved the goalposts and neither us or the quiet ones were willing to pay the exorbitant agent fees, whereas Chelski obviously were....

As for our other signings (and I am sure most people would agree with me on this):

Nastasic very good buy...maybe not quite as good defensively as Lescott (but learning very quickly as has been proved this season), but a much better footballer (along with Rekik) and the future for one side of our defence and much better than Savic.

Garcia...would rather have de Jong any day of the week, though he has shown his versatility in the last couple of games at the back...

Sinclair...very poor buy and not in the same class as Adam Johnson...for all his problems with Mancini, he could still come on and change a game...

Rodwell...too soon to comment yet, but if he can overcome his injury issues, then we have a potentially very good replacement for GazBaz...

as for the talk about us being interested in Begovic...no wonder he has come out and said he wants to go to the quiet ones, after all, we have the number 1 in England and a potential World class keeper in time, whereas they have dross over there...

Yes, they might be numbered with the amount of days left on his current contract!

To make people think he is safe.A false sense of security as it were.
