WTF was all that about with Balo.

He turned 20 in august, hasn't exactly had the best childhood, is new to this league, spent a lot of the season out injured and has 10 goals in 17 appearences. How many strikers at this age could boast such a goal to game ratio? He's even been known to have to play out wide instead of up top. That finish against Villa summed up just how good he is.

One of the best youngsters at the club and all anybody is interested in doing is slating him and driving him away from the club. Cantona was abit eccentric at times yet he wasn't a bad player. Balotelli banged knees with someone tonight and it got its own highlights after the match.

i would agree with you until he did what he did tonight. when do we tow the line with him?

atleast cantona endeared himself to the fans of his club, balo really doesnt help himself.
 
Clearly looked like his face was swelling up and his eyes were constantly streaming until he was subbed off for Tevez.
How anyone can point the finger at him for carrying on despite the above is ridiculous., it's just unfortunate that the problem (which looked like a severe allergic reaction) didn't begin 5 minutes earlier otherwise we wouldn't have had the mystery at the beginning of the second half.

Secondly, how anyone can say that he was awful, lazy, ueseless etcr is either being hyper critical (especially compared to other players who did not perform ANYWHERE near good enough i.e. Yaya) or for some reason have swallowed the line spewed out by the media since he first signed for the club.

Watch the game next time without any preconceptions and then make up your own mind as to how a player has performed....and for gods sake get behind OUR boys.

If he isn't fit, he isn't fit but the way it was handled was a fucking embarrassment.
