Not really, it's a fat mesh looking layer that encompasses the diaphram. I pulled one out of an elk about a month ago, should have kept it but left it for the critters. It's supposed to be good fried up

Its everywhere mate. There is a shortage because of bird flu. We get ours at a local butcher and god only knows what he will charge me.
