Not if it funds bale/Ronaldo/cavani and a more specialised BWM or DM

Who is your replacement then. He is the best midfielder in the league. When he gets going on a run teams are scared of him. I don't know another centre mid who does that.

He is our big game player as well.

Nowhere near the best midfielder in the league, shows up now and again with something specials and people rave about him, and forget about his dire lazy performances. He's a good all rounder and he has done some great stuff for us, but I'm not being berated for looking at his current value and seeing the eventual decline with a player who already lacks stamin. I'd rather a player was reliable in their endeavours than that who shows up for 5 games and looks like a world beater. He won't be played in the same way and I'm sure come end of season, Fernandinho or even an injury free Rodwell will be more valuable to us in a team sense, although I still think we need someone to break up play like Barry's role was

Who is your replacement. Name me a midfielder who performs better week in week out. Granted last season wasn't his best when compared to the season before but no player was other than Zab. If we are to sell every player who seemed on the decline after last season we may as well sell Hart, Kompany, Silva and Aguerro whilst we are at it.

He will be awesome next season with Ferdy to watch his back.

He is easily one of if not the best centre mid in the EPL and he wouldn't command a huge transfer fee due to his age but there is no reason we couldn't sign Kondogbia as well think I read somewhere that he could be sold this summer on the cheap. Think we would be mad to sell him to be honest.

He'll be backup come the end of the season, unless he seriously puts in more effort, and I'm not overly convinced with him being our link between midfield and defence

Re: Yaya - a time to cash in

We can sell him to United, maybe they can give us Anderson in return.

Lol at even thinking of selling one of our best players

Re: Yaya - a time to cash in

I'll be glad when the footy starts, then at least we can watch 5 minutes, before we decide whether someone's good enough or not.

Re: Yaya - a time to cash in

In two years time perhaps, i still think he has a lot to offer however bad his season was last campaign. He definitely needs to do extra work to build up his stamina in the off-season though.

Take your pick of midfielders who are more reliable, granted they may be less talented but I'd rather have 100% of 50 than 10% of 100. I know some players were on a decline last season but most were due to tactics/confidence not a pure laziness that he seems to show in games that apparently mean nothing. Like I've said he's not a BWm and this is possibly why barca let go so easily, we need a busquets more than we need a Yaya

My pick is Yaya. Who is yours?
