It isn't complete bollocks what the OP is alluding to but it will be interesting to see how Yaya shapes up in Pellegrini's team.

Thank you, someone who can see what I'm getting at. Instead of looking at it through Mancini/Yaya shaded glasses

I'm just intrigued to find out who the OP would have in his place, he seems reluctant to tell.
Read the original post more clearly matey all will be revealed, I also stated Rodwell and Fernandinho will be bigger players for us this season than Yaya. Before trying to call someone out please read all correspondence, this is how mistakes are made. :)

But you said get another midfielder in so who?

Why has this become the kypton factor? Read the original post and all will be revealed, there are 2 names there.

Re: Yaya - a time to cash in

It will be foolish to cash in now. Pellegrini had a taster at Real Madrid where both Robben and Sneijder were sold against his wishes and both won the Champions League at Inter Milan and Bayern Munich.

Fair enough. Overlooked that. Would be a massive mistake replacing Yaya with either of them. We have enough players like that and we only need one. If you had mentioned those two before we bought Ferdy then fine there's a debate. But you would take out so much by removing Yaya and the only people that would be happy would be the rags as they are shit scared of him.

You are right. A spotters badge is in the post.

Re: Yaya - a time to cash in

We need talent coming in, not going out

Besides, who would pay the fee we want AND the wages Yaya requires? It would have to be PSG, Monaco or some Russian club. Not sure he would be interested.

I knew this topic was too hot to handle, pretty much like the Mancini debacle, bad for the team but still idolised for victories. Maybe I'll resurface it next year, I'd be glad if he proved me wrong but I doubt it and we end up with a player on astronomical wages whose back up due to his unreliable lazy nature. Like i said I hope I'm wrong.

Such a gentleman

I don't believe I have to be in this instance, its ridiculous stupid, ignorant, rag opinion to get rid of our strongest midfielder.

The guy who scares the rags so hard, our powerhouse.

At the moment YaYa and Frenandinho seem a great partnership, who should we swap them for Cleverly or Anderson.

Sorry man that's bull crap, respect our CHAMPIONS!!

I respect your views, but is this not a discussion forum? You or anyone else may not see my views but to call me a rag for discussing the possibility of selling in my pinion a guy who is vastly over paid in our current structure, who only shows up when it suits, whose lack of stamina is becoming worse, and his value will never be as high, not to mention the position he will be expected to play is the position most fans were berating Mancini for not letting him loose, my main problem was this and we would be better looking at a specialised player in that position rather than a jack of all trades. Don't get me wrong he's been fantastic for us but I feel for the TEAM to move on it might be worth having someone who would turn up each game

How can he have all these negative attributes but still hold a high value?

However Sunderland wouldn't be happy there would be 11 men on the pitch lol. I personally think Fernandinho is similar to Yaya in a way, but more agile and dynamic, I think we need that agility to expand to the BWm/defensive midfielder.
