Yaya on the goal

Only have ever seen maybe Barry or Milner actually go back n that sort of situation, let's face it he is playing hard for over 90 minutes and yes at other times I notice he doesn't get back quickly enough but he plays the most football out of any of our players aside from Joe, I can't fault him in this situation.

-- Mon Jan 02, 2012 6:49 pm --

I'm perfectly serious about the fact that he's not built for the job he's doing in midfield, his sucess in the role is despite this handicap. I'm not suggesting we should play him as a centre half.
Top of the league and one of the best managers in the world has played Yaya in that role nearly every match this season, but You believe he is not fit for it? Please.

NO, you're struggling with comprehending plain english, I can hammer a nail into a piece of wood with a brick, it might do it quite well but it wasn't made for that job. Yaya isn't idealy built for the position in which he is playing, it hinders his game in some ways, that doesn't mean I think he hasn't done well for us, I didn't say "he is not fit for it". By the way, the "one of the best managers in the world" played him at center half and then largely left him out of his side!

More than enough players Back to stop the goal , it was a sucker punch that we didn't deserve even though we didn't play well, think we are trying to walk it in to much , need a few to run at em and create panic that gives free kicks in and around area, Liverpool will play same but have better players for the counter

I hate to say it, but we need a Tevez.

This has to be one of the most astonishing threads in the history of BM and i have witnessed some fucking drivel in my time here.

This thread is muppetry worthy of rag cafe at its worst

The dim see only the positives he brings, the rest of us see him taking longer to get up off his arse than a jobless teenager takes to get out of bed and the way he gulps for air every time he runs 50 yards (which aint that often)!

Mancini is dim then?

And all the people who voted him African player of the year are dim?

Positives the dim see are goals, immportant ones, the best pass ratio in the prem and the best midfileder in the league by a street.

The clever see him gulp for air.......you a Doctor?

OP is right. Watch the video on the site. Don't blame Yaya though. We learned last spring that you can't play him every three days. Too bad Bobby did not learn that lesson.

This is simple -just watch him instead of being brainwashed by crap tv pundits - his work rate off the ball is embarrassing- see what happens when he's not here over the next few weeks. If mourninho was in charge he wouldn't make the team.
