We can't sell him as he will be out of contract,it's a difficult one for pep,we'll have to wait and see what happens

Once he realised there was a problem and his brain clicked that he wasn't helping for Everton's 3rd or 4th goal, he absolutely went for it then. He made it closer than any other of the dross in that back 5 to preventing the goal. He's as fit as I've seen him this season.

I'm not arsed whether a new contract would be on less money. Just roll the contract he's on now on another year, what's the harm? Nobody can do what he does. He runs games, he rarely (sometimes never) gives the ball away, I've never seen a better passer of the ball, and now he's fit and slim he's back to his best.
