Yaya Toure apologises

There is absolutely nothing to gain for Yaya, by 'orchestrating' this.

Surely the most likely situation, is that Seluk, as he said, agreed not to speak about it anymore, Yaya then issued a statememt backing the club & distancing hmself from his agent's comments, & Seluk has, again, opened his fat gob ?

Surely that, is the most logical explanation, rather than Yaya just made the statement to wind us all up ?

There is nothing to gain? What about getting out of his contract early and receiving his bonuses via an employment tribunal, plus being able to move to a new club for no fee to us but a big signing on fee for him.

Agents don't speak out with their own opinions on their clients. They are more or less puppets of the players, although they can of course manipulate. Ya Ya obviously has an enormous ego and an inflated sense of self-worth, and that's what came out in the agent's comments. We've seen it time and time again throughout his career. He is certainly not some innocent victim of a big mouth agent. If he was he would have retracted the agent's comments the following day and then sacked and sued him.
Yep, his hissy fit when he failed to win the African POTY last year. Even though he did fuck all and Aubameyang scored nearly 40 goals.

Complete and utter nonsense. Yaya has swallowed his pride and apologised. He can't be held accountable for that pr*ck of an agent. It maybe that Yaya now wants rid of him but he could still be contractually tied to the fool.

He's done what's been asked, great news, now time to bring him back into the fold.

He is out of contract at the end of the season & can sign a pre contract with whoever he likes, in Jan.

There is nothing to gain now, or in the eyes of any possible future employers, by Yaya's agent causing trouble. It is all a bad selling point for Yaya, not a good one.

His agent is a twat who loves the sound of his own voice & doesn't care.

If Yaya shows that he's willing to press and apply himself defensively, I've no problem with that. Otherwise, Yaya shouldn't start.

That's up to Pep.

But you have just agreed with me on the other stuff.

Yaya and his cockgob agent need to apologise behind closed doors, not to the media. They also need to be apologising for their actions, not 'misunderstandings'.

He can't be held accountable for the person he employs to represent him?
