Only them, Barca and Madrid it could be, really?

Paris might have a transfer cap, but they are also planning to sell the likes of Cavani and others, so they could certainly find £50m if needs be.

Personally, could see Yaya at Madrid, they love a big name just for the sale of it.

We could demand Isco and Di Mario?

If it is Paris, would slam the money down to Juventus for Vidal right away.

Tolm, do you really think we will get anywhere near 50 million for a 31 year old who is kicking off to get a move? Wherever he is going we should certainly play hard ball, demand players we want in exchange or tell them to go fuck themselves for tapping up our main man.

I think it could be higher than £50m.

Who can pay that ?

Re: Yaya. The Ultimate Monster

If he is engineering a move to Real Madrid by using a birthday cake, he won't ever be able to live it down. Nobody will ever let him forget it.

I think it could be higher than £50m.

He has proved himself the best of his type in the world.

In England, he's probably got 12-18 months playing at his current level.

In France, Spain or Italy, they would still be bouncing off him at 35.

Whatever any deal, it should be on our terms and replacements already lined up.

We should also remember Yaya will again miss two months of the season next year with African Nations.

His wages, alone, would cover two seriously top class recruits.

Let's hope he hasn't put off Sagna.

Higher than £50M? He is 31, IF he leaves it will be under a cloud, his wages are astronomical, we are known as a club which sells cheap, PSG and other potential suitors are hamstrung by ffp, not a fucking chance

A few clubs out there in serious debt mate that could borrow a little more if needed without pissing UEFA off.

Well whoever he moves to I hope we get them in the CL. The birthday related chants will be brilliant.

Does anyone else think that 'Seluk' sounds like the sort of name a Vulcan would have?

Maybe the illogical world of Manchester City is too much of an anathema to his sensibilities.

Another Tevez all over again. Forget about success we are a Laughing stock

I just don't understand why it makes us a laughing stock. Who looks stupid here, a player on huge wages who is a grown man being upset about his birthday and hiding behind his mad agent or the club who at this point have done nothing wrong other than reward all their players with handsome contracts and bonuses. The only way the club will be a laughing stock is if they let him get away with being such a dick and bend over for him. You know like united do every couple of years for rooney.
