I haven't still worked out what is his real problem or beef with the club etc etc. In normal life he does his job and gets paid and anything more such as praise etc is a bonus. What does he fucking want?

It does sound like he just wants a move and this is his way of going about it ala Barcelona

That is a weak argument skash.
Bayern and Dortmund never seem to have this hassle with players
.

Just because others put up with petulant prima donna's does not mean we should or need nor have to.

Gotze, Lewandowski, Kagawa, Sahin and now Kroos at Bayern.

I don't remember them acting like arses though.
Gotze had to come clean due to the leaks from bayern, he still kept his head down and worked hard.

Will he also poison the dressing room.

Pellegrini won't let him. He drummed Riquelme out of Villareal when he was their best player, because of his attitude.

Cake, but we can't risk it because he has the same fat gene as his brother

Re: Yaya Toure

If he wanted more money or a move why not talk to the club privately or do what every other fucker does simply tout his name round europe with other clubs saying he wants out. If he actually wanted a coaching role again why not keep it in house because I am dammed certain that when this is all over it is the last thing he is going to get.

I know
If yaya wants to leave he should do the same
Sorry, I thought your problem was the the timing and that he did it after everyone was 'on a high'.

The timing has pissed me off in that it was when he was with the owner and the board and the next day his agent starts gobbing off,if yaya gave a stuff about them and the fans he could have stopped it dead by saying he is happy and then left it till he was at the world cup which is when everyone else starts this nonsense. He has brought the mood right down, for me anyway
I have no problem with anyone who wants to leave or more money coming out and saying it honestly and above board
I was so disappointed with yaya's comments last night,as a fan he has gone right down in my eyes as a person, not as a footballer.I want him to stay but the club have to come out on top or they will all be at it

Re: Yaya Toure

The worst thing of all from all of this is if he really wanted to leave, all he had to do was say he wanted a new challenge or something different for his family. Not one supporter would begrudge him from leaving if he was open and honest about it because he has been a huge part of our recent success. If he had done this and left on good terms I'm certain he would be in our hall of fame, now he's being labeled a mercenary (again) and has ruined a great relationship with the club and fans as well as tarnishing his own reputation. Ill-advised is an understatement but is not surprising considering his agent his a raving lunatic.

Re: Yaya Toure

Haven't dipped into this thread for about a week now so could do with a bit of a summary...

What's this 'statement' the last few pages are on about? Something regarding Fernando?

Totally agree with that. If Toure had ended the season then done an interview saying something like "My project in Manchester is complete I won everything in England I would like a new challenge somewhere", I think most of us would have wished him all the best and felt lucky to have had him here.

So you don't think the cake thing is a genuine grievance then?

For me the comments regarding money, the Sheikhs, Txiki sweeping the streets of London, the mocking of the potential signing of Fernando ... a line was crossed with all that.

I didn't realise all this was said, must have missed it. Is there a transcript of the interview?
Good luck with that, I could understand about 1 word in 5 and I'm good with languages and accents.

I think i am behind here, whats this about Fernando and Txiki sweeping streets?
No idea about this stuff, have we got links lads?

Behind the Suns pay wall.

Seluk first spoke to the Sun and gave them a big interview. Most of the quotes pulled were about Yaya being unhappy about not being given respect and the Sheikh trying to buy relationships etc. But in that first interview he also talks about how City won't win the league without Yaya but with Fernando next season and that when that happens Txiki (or maybe it was Soriano) should sweep the streets of London.

If there's anyone on BM who has access to the sun's website maybe they could post a transcript of the whole interview.

Good luck in getting someone on here to admit they pay a subscription to the sun.

Haha. Good point.

Honestly I literally had to have someone read it to me down the phone the morning it came out and I couldn't believe half the shit I was hearing. I'm kind of glad that the Sun's behind a pay wall because I suspect more would've been made of this whole story if that original interview was done for a publication that's not behind one.

Re: Yaya Toure

Seluk is driving everything. It is clear that our management don't want anything to do with him, just like that snake Kia Jorabchin. Ya Ya has allowed himself to be manipulated. At 31 he has got no chance of a £300,000 a week deal. He has been fantastic for us but I reckon has only one more season in him, not least because of injuries. We should be ruthless and get rid. Unlike a few years back we now hold all the cards in this sort of situation.
I don't know where Toure will end up but, after the stink Seluk caused there last time, it won't be Barcelona.
