does anyone know what actually happened?

A cake happened, apparently. Or didn't. Nobody quite knows. The only thing people can agree on is that Yaya has made a complete arse of himself or has permitted his agent to do so, which amounts to the same thing.

The agent literally said that Yaya should have been given a cake when Suarez won the PFA player of the year.

I don't care. He's 31. He can go back to Barca as long as we bring a heavy weight in to take his place.
Rooney?
Nah

Yes, big fat bastard. Who can we get that it is a big fat bastard? Lumplard, maybe.

I would find it hilarious if we signed him as Yaya's replacement, although I'm not sure everyone else on here would find it quite so amusing.

Re: Yaya Toure

just looked at the odds on Yaya being a City player next season 1/4,Barca player 9/2, PSG 4/1, Monaco 20/1

We wouldn't dare forget to get him a birthday cake, or 10.

And if this is just a ploy to screw extra money out of the club, well fuck that. This has the faint whiff of Wooney and Rag sagas. I don't think we need to play.

Mike Tyson to give us more bite in midfield?

That might clash a little with our strict non-rapist policy for the playing staff.

It looks like it's a term on his current contract that he gets an entire birthday cake to himself every time they get a throw-in.
