Re: Yaya Toure

I don't think that interview was after this fiasco, I think it's been carefully crafted to suggest it (without ever explicitly claiming it is).
I think it was conducted a good few weeks ago, since much of what he said had been reported previously (verbatim) and there's no reference to recent events.

Re: Yaya Toure

From hero to villain in such a small amount of time.

Cringe worthy the way Yaya and his agent are acting. Down right embarrassing.

He's been my favorite player for us practically since he signed, but this is so disrespectful and seems so out of character from him. I would be more upset but I find this all very confusing and actually quite funny. A cake? For real?? Oh Yaya, we all know its money :(

I hate to say it, but I don't see a way he stays and we don't look like twats.

Jaw dropping behavior from Yaya and his agent (if true)!
`didn`t get me a cake SO I AM OFF!!! lol
can`t say as i believe it all but if he is upset with his employer for that he should try working for the nhs!
As a matter of fact he should try working like the rest of us
.

Isn't there a word for this?
come on brainboxes is it an oxymoron or something?
irony maybe?

The problem for Yaya is that, at the moment, we're all really disappointed in him.

If he leaves it until after the world cup to communicate with the club and the fans, I think any apology (should that be forthcoming) will fall on deaf ears and that disappointment will have been replaced with irretrievable disgust.

He needs to speak now whilst he still has a chance.

People warmed back to Tevez pretty quickly - although never truly forgot his antics.
I suspect the same will be true of Toure if he returns. Fans are fickle, and if he's sticking the ball in the back of the net, we'll soften. Woe betide him if he has a few bad games though... the howling mob will be gunning for him

Thanks for all you've done for the club Yaya. Time for you to go now.

Bingo.

Getting to the stage where if he does one more interview ... if there's one more public comment from him or his agent ... then i'll be fucking furious with Txiki, Soriano, and Khaldoon if they don't fuck the **** off. He's done a lot while he's here ... but he's earned a kings ransom to do it ... the manner in which he's gone about things in the last few days is abhorrent IMO.
