This all started a few weeks ago when Yaya said that African players didn't get the recognition they deserved..

Just had Darren Lewis on ssn and he said that Droba never got player of the month,eto'o never won world player..in fact no African player does well in any awards so to speak except george weir in 95 and lets face it,since then there have been great African players...
This is deeper that we are led to believe..

I am sorry but I fail to see what this has to do with City. Yaya could not be more respected, loved and appreciated by us fans and the club. To me this is just an excuse, Yaya and his agent are testing the water to see if they can get one last move and if they can't then City will be his second choice. All this talk by Darren Lewis about African footballers not being respected is probably true but this is not the issue regarding Yaya.

I couldn't believe some of the things I read on this thread.

For all we know someone Yaya may have received death threats, his family may have been threatened or something. Some of these agents are associated with notorious gangs and mafias.

He's a down to earth and friendly person, what he's doing is out of character. Let's wait for more information.

Get Liam Neeson and/or Bruce Willis on the job. They'll take care of any bad guys.

And if that cock Lewis wants to try and rationalise Ya Ya disrespecting our football club (and his employer), then he'd be better served looking at his own profession rather than City. Aparantly Adam what's his name from Southampton got the vote.ahead of him.

I think it was two years ago that Lewis's colleagues even managed to vote Paul Scholes above David Silva, on the basis of a 6 game post Christmas comeback! Fucking incredible!

That is after Paul Scholes admitted that the football was too fast for him following his comeback. There is a serous lack of respect to what has been achieved over the last four years at our great club. Even four four two had three of our players in the world team of the year whilst we all know how many got in the last players player side.
