Whilst it's been a PR disaster and his agent is positioning for a move, I can't agree with some of the comments about simply shipping him out and replacing him with a Vidal or Barkley.

This guy plays when it matters, you can't simply buy that. I know that come May next season if we have to win at the likes of Spurs and Swansea to clinch the league who I'd want in the team.

As Ric said, we're a fickle lot. Everything that's been said has come through his agent with nothing definitive from Toure himself. He's been through a lot recently and I'd imagine a statement of commitment to the club would win the majority of us back round.

Here (hopefully) is that picture I mentioned. No idea when or where it was taken (Abu Dhabi, perhaps).

I did some digging because I originally thought this series of images was photoshopped, but they are genuine . Looks like the whole team had their pictures taken taken in the new kit on 10th April 2014. eg:

Can't see Barkley coming, or Yaya leaving, this window.

He's obviously been a bit of a dick lately, but football fans are notoriously fickle and a few decent performances will see this whole charade largely forgotten. Some of the faux outrage on here is a bit OTT. Tevez did worse, and was forgiven.

Begs the question why one of your mods is constantly calling him a c**t on here, and also calls anyone who sticks up for Yaya c**ts too, disgusting. Surprised he hasn't called it you yet, maybe he hasn't seen your post Ric?

As Ric said what tevez did was on a whole dif level to ya ya's & most city fans soon enough forgive him,goal at newcastle and they'll be back singing his name......

Tevez,in his mind,had a genuine reason to be miffed though,and,while that reason remained at our club, he felt it necessary to be elsewhere.So,while I don't agree that was best way of going about things,i do have a certain empathy with him.
