Re: Yaya Toure

It's not the 1st time Yaya (or his agent, or both) have come out with a "statement" and it lead nowhere because -and even Yaya and his manager should be aware of this- there are a few places he could go. PSG probably the sole option.

Ofcourse I would be gutted if Yaya leaves, but then again our club is in a position to sell him for big money and buy another great player (Pogba). In the end, no matter who stayes or goes, we will get stronger. And that's the beautiful position we are in ever since Sheikh Mansour took over. It's HIS birthday we should never forget !!

Re: Yaya Toure

Yaya says he's considering has options and his agent does what he has to do.

What are the consequences? You wanted respect Yaya? You will look like the most ridiculous footballer in history if your agent carries on touring every broadcaster in the country with these ridiculous tales.

It will blow over now. I am ignoring this now. The brief interview from Yaya to Bein Sport makes it clear. And Yaya will come back and say I said nothing, my agent was just defending me but I didn't say anything etc etc. Can you see a bigger club coming along with a better proposition, I can't, therefore it blows over when he comes back from the World Cup and considers his options.

I'm afraid some players employ people who have zero respect.

I just don't see the big deal about it. Maybe it's me as I'm getting older however I don't give a fuck what happens. We've just won the league and we have the best owner in world football. If he decides he wants to go we'll get absolute top whack, circa £50mil, for an ageing player. We are going to spend net £50mil anyway, plus whatever we bring in from outgoings so if he goes we will replace him. Of course there are no players the same as Yaya but we'll get over it, we'd have to do so at some point anyway.

What will be, will be.
Exactly this, my friend.

Re: Yaya Toure

Having slept on it.....

Cash in and make the most of the opportunity by purchasing two amazing talents in Fabregas and Barkley.

Alongside Fernandinho, and with the impending arrival of Fernando, adding the above two will make us even stronger imo.

This could be a blessing in disguise, the opportunity to address our HG quota and improve the squad while, although his talent is undeniable....... removing a precious, self obsessed egomaniac from the books.

There's fuck all wrong with being a precious, self-obsessed egomaniac.....

We'd be lucky to get £25m for him considering his age.

People keep referring to the fact he's 31. Does anyone know when he turns 32?
On his birthday of course!

And if he gets a birthday cake he''l feel loved again. Or how about arranging for him to have two birthdays a year - like the
queen. Shouldn't cost too much to bake another cake and then problem solved ! Happy Yaya. Happy City. And within the UEFA sanctions . Unless
the sanctions prevent two birtday cakes a year ?
