Re: Yaya Toure

Khaldoon will not bat an eyelid over this because in the grand scheme of things it will not stop the club achieving its ambitions and great player though he is they all are replaceable when you have the financial clout that City have.

Re: Yaya Toure

All that this clown, Seluk has prooved, is that all you need to be an agent these days is to be a complete knobhead with contreversial comments and excelent timeing.

Just look at Kia Joorabchian and Max Clifford.

Maybe a few on here need to look at a career change. ;-{

Re: Yaya Toure

Also no player is irreplaceable because ulitmately they have to be replaced sooner or later. No one plays forever. We move on, it'll blow over and he'll be starting in August I would imagine.

Fair point mate although I don't think it necessarily follows Seluk would automatically be all the kids agent, some maybe, but I'm more than comfortable the powers at our club are more than capable of dealing with the likes of him.

Ya Ya is a great player but he's proved he's no Patrick Viera - He's acted like a complete **** and then said I can show our young players how to conduct themselves.

You only have to look at Vieira as a player to know he was no saint back in the day, it's a role many have to develop into, PV included, kids look at who a player is rather than their personality traits initially.

Also, until Toure gives us his thoughts directly, I'm not going to give his loud-mouthed agents comments too much credence, up until a few days ago. Toure was held in pretty high esteem by most of us before this blew up.

We will have to agree to differ on the coaching. I don't want coaches at City that aren't commited to the club and behave like an immature wanker when they want something.

He can't be deaf or blind to the media's reaction to this in the UK (and internationally) and he must know that he and his "agent" have made themselves look like complete fucking chumps and yet he appears to be doing nothing to recover this situation. The only thing that the player has said is that he doesn't know who he is playing for next season but he hasn't discounted anything that his agent has said. The agent works for him and speaks on his behalf so in my book Toure supports everything he says - if he doesn't he's conspicuous in his abesence in all this and taking a very big risk with his career.

Re: Yaya Toure

Yaya with the help of his agent has not come out of this looking good. At best he comes over as hyper sensitive at worst as a spoilt child. This nonsense seems to be a recurring theme - with these pair. The club has handled it well by saying nothing in public but they will be as annoyed as the rest of us to see Yaya so publicly biting the hand that feeds. This may all blow over but we had best come to terms with the fact that Yaya - however critical he is to us - will be heading out of the club in the next couple of years. It may suit us to sell him now - if it does we will if it doesn't suit us we won't and him and his pathetic agent need to understand he's under contract and we will decide whether he leaves or not this summer.

To be fair Viera could at times be an utter bastard on the pitch but TBH I'd have rather been on the inside with him pissing out (you know the rest). I accept that Yaya may feel that he owes this idiot of a friend a debt but FFS it has been paid many times over. He is not an agent because he is not and could never be registered as one ( I am pretty sure barking mad shite talker disqualifies you ).

I think that, since he has become a club ambassador Viera has oozed nothing but class (and he did not play too badly for us once he got as fit as he could either). Could Yaya do this? Yes but only if he sacks off this Slavic muppet.

Yaya you are paid ridiculous amounts of money to do what I would do for free ( if I had the ability :-( ) grow a pair.

Oh and BTW I would make it a condition of every city players contract that anything negative about the club said on social media is the equivalent of giving a negative interview about the club in the media in general with the concomitant fines and/or penalties.

Think before you tweet!

I don't know about others, but from me it'll always be the polite cheer for Yaya from now on, like it was Tevez after Munichgate. Fans never loved Tevez as much after that, I wonder if it'll be the same with Yaya.

Shifting the blame on to the agent is convenient, but ignores that they are so close that Yaya ignored Kolo's advice to take Seluk's and named a child after Seluk. And Yaya has repeatedly said he trusts him 100%.

On the football pitch, it's still for the best that we keep Yaya, though. He's the heartbeat of our system.

Yep. apart from when we sing Happy birthday to him as a piss take.

Re: Yaya Toure

I am 100% confident Yaya wrote those tweets....

I am 100% confident Yaya deleted those tweets.....

I am 100% confident his knob of an agent got his arsed kicked by both the club and Yaya......

I am 75% confident that Yaya will be starting for us next season.....

i am 100% confident in the clubs management and support whatever action they take.

First thing I'm going to do when the fixtures come out is see if we are at home on 13th May 2015 (I hope I've got the right date, there). It's going to be a Wednesday so hopefully be one of our catch up games again at home.
