Can't post the text from my phone but it's repeated in here: http://balls.ie/football/yaya-toures-ag ... king-arse/

Too slow...

Re: Yaya Toure

Hopefully the wheels are in motion behind the scenes to bring in a replacement. Waiting until after the World Cup is too late.

Get rid, we'll recover.

Toure should be ashamed of himself, whatever the out come he will regret this
I seriously doubt it, as long as he gets his move back to barca where he was treated so well, so well he was constantly on the bench and they sold him to us that is

Honestly, can't believe how many people are saying sell him. The argument seems to be that we're big enough now that we don't have to take this shit anymore. Well wake the fuck up, Messi's doing it at Barcelona, Ronaldo did it last year at Real Madrid, and previously at the rags the year before he was sold. Wayne Rooney pulled the rag's pants down several times. There, those are the three biggest clubs in the world. ALL clubs with world class players have this problem. It's just something we have to learn to deal with and take it with a pinch of salt. That's what being a big club is, not throwing toys out of the pram.

Agreed, most of the people assaying sell come should be ashamed to call theme selves blues.

In fact I reckon most aren't

Someone else with the blueometer up their backside.

Perfectly named article imo.

Re: Yaya Toure

They don’t give any attention to Yaya. This is the shittiest thing.

If they think that with the money they can buy everything, they are wrong.

And now, with Financial Fair Play for them, it’s very good if Yaya goes. They can receive money and they can show to UEFA they have money.

And they can let Manuel Pellegrini win the title with Fernando from Porto.

He concluded:

Yaya and I would agree a bet with City. If Yaya leaves the club and City win the Premier League I agree to sweep the floor at the training ground for a month for free.

But if not, Txiki and City chief executive officer Ferian Soriano would have to sweep the streets in Trafalgar Square for one day.

I think these people don’t care. Only stupid people would want Yaya to leave the club.

For me, this is a strange situation because, if you think about it, when Yaya left Barcelona it was with the same people.

Now these people come to Manchester City and Yaya must leave City.

Re: Yaya Toure

His agent's outburst has probably made Ya Ya's position untenable. Sometimes things run a natural course and come to an end. He is, and has been a great player, but if he doesn't want to stay then we have to let him go. He has shown a lack of respect to the fans. We should not repeat the mistake United made by paying Rooney what he demanded. Rooney has been in decline for five years and has mugged the rags.

Re: Yaya Toure

So its a personality clash between Yaya and the spanish duo. So has nothing to do with cake and birthdays, nothing to do with MCFC, or the fans or even money, it is the fact they were the guys who sold him to us and they being business men and realising at some stage in the near future he will have to be sold again, Yaya can't handle being flogged to the highest bidder.

Re: Yaya Toure

I can only assume since this thread is half way down active threads page, the passionate defensive posts coming and vitriolic equally will all be long.

Come on, i want a meltdown :-D

Re: Yaya Toure

Ronaldo could hold Real for ransom because he's such an important player for them, you can say the same about Messi and Rooney. But Yaya isn't that important for us , the team isn't built around him , it is built around Aguero. As Pellegrini said "this is Aguero's team".

Be interested to know what the stats are for winning and losing with or without him in the team?

It wouldn't be a useful statistic as he plays almost every game.

I'm sure that if pair Fernandinho with Fernando we'd still be a great team.

Re: Yaya Toure

One or two have mentioned this but it's not had a proper airing. Putting aside rights and wrongs, does Yaya have the fortitude and resilience to:

a) Withstand the piss-taking that awaits him at every ground in the PL next season, and

b) Fire himself up every game?

Or have we already gone past the tipping point?

He's a great player but the point is that we can live without him.

Re: Yaya Toure

If he really does want to leave the Club, like his Gobshite of a Agent appears to be doing everything in his half-witted power to indicate, then we need to make the most of the very strong situation as it is this summer - he's just turned 31, and has three years left on his Contract - which is very favourable for us. Fast forward a year, and a 32 year old with just 2 years left puts us in a much weaker position.

We've had 4 fantastic years out of him, but his performances will start to dip over the next couple of years. We can still get a good fee for him this summer, so I'd sell him to the highest bidder and put the fee we get plus whatever else we have left of our Transfer limit after buying Fernando and a new Centre Half towards bringing a younger model like Pogba in - who will set us up for the next cycle of success.

Leave the whinging child to eat all the Birthday Cake he likes out in Monaco, or wherever he ends up.

Thanks for the memories Yaya - we got your best years, and enjoyed the ride - but time stands still for no-one!
