Could have sworn that he was quoted has saying recently, that he wanted to finish his career at city.

He did twice, once was on the website and mancini said it would be done, who is holding it up seems to be the question, must be tkiki, hedging his bets maybe.I can see a big falling out if mancini is staying
I'd be hedging my bets too. You simply don't hand over a contract guaranteeing over £200,000 a week every single week for 5 years to someone who will be 35 by the time it ends. No other team would even dream of doing it and quite rightly City won't either. In fact he'd be hard pressed to find anyone willing to match that for 3 years given the transfer fee they'd also have to shell out. It's fairly easy to see why City are so relaxed about this.

Perhaps it was countin' all his money that gave him a headache !

Yaya's agent is known for this stuff, highly unlikely this latest "antic" will work, who else will pay what we pay him? Add that to the fact Yaya is getting on a little (in footballing years of course.)

I have been quite disappointed with Yaya this season.

That said, he set that high standards last year, it would've been difficult to reach those heights again this year.

His form is arguably the reason for our fall from grace this year, he is that important.
That combined with Nasri starring at the grass in midfield agueros lack of goal scoring form and injuries to the defense..

I read above he speaks Russian ... so Anzhi?
Big payers: PSG?
Also Mourinho was trying to get him to Real, so Chelsea? (assuming he takes over from Benitez)

Re: Yaya's agent says he is ready to quit...

His agent is a **** and is simply trying to get the best deal and to force our hand.. This shit happens all the time nothing new. Its all doom and gloom now then he will be given a new contract and all is happy. and im almost sure Yaya has nothing to do with this. Agents get money based on how much he gets the player (pre agreed percentage ) its simple the agent trying to get the most dollars for himself and his client.

Just read the agents comments, and to me it smacks of guy who is a bit short of cash, following a few sleazy nights in a strip club, so the best thing to do is try and recoup the money via city and yaya. Dirty bastard.
