He has a weird ability to score goals that shouldn't be scoreable. I don't know how to explain it, but he is the one player who score from shots I didn't expect to see go in. On some occasions it's shooting into a crowded area. 9 out of 10 it hits someone and it's blocked. Yaya is often the 10. The one that just moves at the right speed to avoid moving bodies and body parts.
Then there is the lazy swing at the ball thing he does. Often looks like someone putting in a cross. Somehow it fools me and apparently almost every goalie. Coz they always realize it's going in about the same time I do: when it's fucking too late.
I've enjoyed every minute of watching him at City. He has been special. And while I've loved David more ( I know you couldn't tell with the way I'm always pushing Isco of late :p) I must say, Yaya for me has been City's best player of this era.
Deeply flawed, but immaculately beautiful nonetheless. A polarizing legend? Sure. The best since the takeover? Without an iota of doubt.
