Yaya....world class attacking midfielder....

1) Yaya Toure picked up a bad knock mid way through the Dortmund game and played on

2) He can play defensive and attacking roles in midfield and does both. When you have Silva, and Nasri is it any surprise we often use him in a defensive role.

3) You will never get the work rate our of him that Dortmund players put in - he is huge and it's just impossible for a man his size to close down like they did. Just acknowledge his strengths and be grateful he plays for City.

How did we ever survive Div 2 with fans like these?
We survived with mine and other fans hard earned cash.

Yaya is miles better more forward...how does that thought warrant being a bad fan comment?

Exactly!!

Some people need to get a grip. Not one person has slaughtered Yaya at all and everyone recognises his superlative passing ability and charges forward.

The only point anyone is making is that he has a weakness in the defensive side of his game and therefore (especially against better teams) he should be used further forward.

Apparently this means that people are criticising him or getting on his back. Idiots.

Just annoyed with the tendency to write off players, manager etc after 30 poor minutes. The same players and manager who have won our first trophies in 35 long years.

Where has he been written off???

Absolute bollocks. He bossed game after game as a central/defensive midfielder whatever you wanna call it last season, including the 6-1 at the swamp. Just had a shit game against dortmund

Some people can't understand the concept of believing a player to be world class, a fabulous footballer and almost peerless when it comes to some aspects of the game - whilst also recognising that there is a facet of the game that he doesn't excel at.

Bewilderingly small minded.

You know this forums going crackers when Yaya is copping it! But you're all welcome to your opinion.

His been our best player this season, last game he was below average, but he was injured. Yaya is a boss.
