I am sick and tired of ignorant and useless no mark journalists telling us that Yaya is a defensive midfield player. Where do they find these pillocks. Anyone who came to the game against Olympiakos about 5 years ago would testify what a magnificent all power box to box midfielder he is.I am sure many of you have watched him with interest ever since. I never dreamed we would get him, imho he could be the best midfield player in the league. The fact that he played deeper for Barca is simply because they had two rather good and established central midfielders in Xavi and Iniesta.

Always had time on the ball last night and used it very well, this while not being fully up to speed, made it look easy.

Quite so, the sign of a top class player.

Been saying this since before we signed him, he's almost the complete package as a central midfielder.

Playing in Barca for x amount of years has really brought him to another level. His passing and awareness on and off the ball, separates him from other midfielders. I think he's made for playing in the prem, could be our best signing over the coming year!

CTID!!

Makes me chuckle when so called experts say that Yaya is not world class. If he isn't world class then I'm Boy George (I'm not Boy George).

And the pass in the first half with the outside of his right foot-sublime.
