Your ideal central-midfield signing for next summer ?

Back to the days we had Fern, D Silva, B Silva, Gundogan and KDB.

Realistically, we could just be down to KDB next season, so we need to get this right.

All of these where well known established players either with high potential or already highly rated.

I don’t think we should be moving too far from that strategy.

B Silva / MacAllister
Gundogan / Bellingham

These would be my choice and could prove very expensive and other then age would be a downgrade.

Shows how good we have had it.
 
KDB, Gundo are the wrong side of 30
Bernardo wants away
Phillips is injury prone

I think we should let Gundo, Bernardo and Phillips go at the end of this season.
Keep KDB but gradually phase him out next season by which time he will be nearly 33.

Keep Rodri
Add Bellingham as a must buy to replace Gundo
Add Musiala
Use Foden to replace Bernardo
Use Grealish to replace KDB

We’re not gonna sell Phillips. He’s been here 6 months and has been injured for 80% of it
