Your ideal central-midfield signing for next summer ?

It doesn’t seem to be in the game so much at all these days. Remember when there was Keown, Adams, Keane, Vieira, Wise, Vinny Jones, no-one seems to act like that on the pitch anymore, maybe because there are so many cameras they’d spend half the season banned!
Did you ever watch Gattuso? Diego Simeone was hell to play against. As was Antonio Conte. There were hard men on every big team in every major league. If those guys employed the same tactics today they'd be booked out of games before halftime, lol.
Speaking of a kinder, gentler game, did anyone see Neymar pick up a second yellow for diving and get sent off? There is no way on Earth I would want that little prick anywhere near our squad. What a disgrace for someone of his supposed standing in the game!!

Obviously, he's never played in the EPL. Neither had Haaland, Gundo, bernardo silva etc
All more experienced established players (baring Haaland maybe).
Bellingham is a good player.....could be a world beater. But at present its all potential. He isnt at the moment as good as people are making out.....He could be dont get me wrong but he isnt as good as any of those we have already at the present moment...but again he could be

Any transfer has the potential to not work mate?
Of course....thats my point....

There is a lot of hype around this kid......some of it deserved but not the level it is getting. He aint as good as any of our central midfielders at present. He could be better than all of them but also he may not and at present he is a downgrade on Bernardo Silva, Foden, Gundo, Kev, Rodri for absolute certain. He has atriibutes that some of those dont have (probably more of a goal threat than most of them) but his passing in tight spaces and ball retention in tight spaces isnt as good. His running with the ball isnt as good as Kevs, His dribbling is nowhere near as good as Bernardo's and Fodens. His engine is better than most though Id wager Bernardo Silva can cover the same amount of ground. Better in the air than all maybe baring Rodri.

One other big thing (as with most English players) is attitude and lifestyle.....is it right? From what we see it certainly looks so as long as he keeps his feet on the ground which they certainly seem to be doing....but he is away from the glare of the British Press over in Germany and the constant pressure which will explode if he moves here.

A winner? WTF has DePaul ever won beside having the good fortune of playing on this Argentine team? He's not anywhere near Rodri's class. You can have an opinion as long as you know you're in a massive minority it's all good.

“What has he ever won beside the World Cup?”
