YOUR starting back four.

Richards at RB

Very sensible lineup and I agree. Long ball team, we need Micah's pace, but Pablo is overall a much better defender.

Ned.....Toure......Dunne........Bridge/Lescott

Hughes has a major problem on his hands keeping everyone happy Not only with the defence but the midfield and forwards as well. I hope to God their contracts state they only get paid the big bucks if they play. That way if they're really here just for the money they'll need to bust their arses to earn a place in the team.
Today has left me feeling Hughes has bought too many players too soon..

By removing Lescott, Hughes has injured Everton.

By taking Barry he has injured Villa.

Taking Tevez has injured United if not defensively, certainly prestige.

Adebayor and Toure have joined the revolution.

Hughes has ruthlessly harvested the best (bar Chelsae and Liverpool) the Premier League has to offer from our immediate competition. Even if it is the same back four as last year, Lescott, Barry, Tevez, Adebayor and Toure will not be playing against us.

It is going to be an interesting season.

I'd keep the back four the same barring injury, because you want a settled back 4.

I think the Toure-Lescott partnership has the potential to be very good. Look at the Wolves game, our Back 4 looked weakest when Wolves were bombing long balls down the middle. We would've been much more comfortable if we had a CB that was dominant in the air. Lescott could have provided that.

Richards--Toure--Lescott--Bridge

Though you got to feel bad for Dunne, ever present and usually a stonewall in the defense. Going from captain to bench has got to hurt the man.

i would guess toure and lescott will be our cbs initially.bridge has start.ed the season well so the only one who should be looking over his shoulder at mo is richards.most of wolves threat late on in 2nd half came down his side .personally i think he should have been subbed for onouah around 60min mark as he seems to run out of steam and concentration and positioning seems to falter.hope dunne stays as i still think he can play a part and deserves some successn
