Your worst ever City game witnessed?

Re: Worst City game of the 'modern era'

probably everton at home 0 - 2 or jimmy frickin bullard in yet another hughes bore draw against hull

Re: Worst City game of the 'modern era'

liverpool 3-0 away last season still sticks in the memory

Re: Worst City game of the 'modern era'

under hughes when we played liverpool closely after the takeover
think we were 2-0 up at halftime with ireland and garrido, then zaba gets sent off, robinho missing from underneath the crossbar and we lose 3-2

Re: Worst City game of the 'modern era'

Think it was a match vs Bolton at home and they didn't have a single shot but won.

Edit: misread it, think this one was under Pearce

Nottingham Forest at home in the FA Cup was depressing, even if it wasn't a full strength side

my worst city game

there are quite a few, boro away 8-1, chesterfield away cup 2-1, shrewsbury away fa cup 2-0 and so on, but the bloody worse 1 was halifax away fa cup 1980 lost 1-0 on a bloody mud heap where city fans helped to clear the water off the pitch, come to think about it, there are too many to write about, but thats been a city fan for you, lows and now highs

What about Blackburn away in the cup a few years back? ''You're not fit to wear the shirt'' and all that?

Re: Your worst ever City game witnessed? (merged)

inappropriate merging lol

A certain cup game against Forest stands out for me.

Lost 3-0 at home to Forest who were towards the bottom of the Championship and with a new Manager who'd barely had time to look at the players. It was the turn of the year and usually a time for optimism amongst people!
