Theres been a few...but a result from about 86/87 i think comes to light,
we had been playing shite for a while then leicester did us at home 2-1
was about 15/16 at the time & thought this is shit, went on another shite
run for about about 8 matches....My old fella took me to my 1 of 2 away
matches that year charlton & we got battered...it was a fuckin awfull
season!

Hell this makes me feel bad. I only go to a few games per year but have had the misfortune to attend:-
the 1-2 against Leicester (1986) when Robert Hopkins scored for us- first time I saw Whitey;
the 0-1 vs Port Vale - boxing day 1996 - god that was bad
the 0-3 v Leicester on my borthday 9 Nov 2003 - unbelievable :(((
the 3-3 v Burnley at home in 2009
I would add a few more horrors :-
0-0 v Liverpool last year
1-2 v Oldham in 1997 - I think they scored one off the back of Perry Suckling's head and Andy May got lots of grief (hang on - that was the Leicester game above)
2-3 v Chelsea in 1989 - what a disappointment at 0-3 down
0-1 v Wimbledon 1992 - train broke down, arrived at half time, no roof , rain, crap apart from Edghill
0-1 at Spurs 1994 - last time I saw Rick Holden thank God

For some reason, i will never forget one game under the pearce era.
Wigan at home.
We lost 1-0 lee muccloch header.
Very, very nearly left at half time.

I think Stockport County away some time around 97/98. Lost 3-1, remember Brett Angel nutmegging Kit Symons and city fans fighting amongst themselves.
Kit Symon's mum and dad were sat just behind us, was awful.......although it was just one of such a long line of shockers over those few years as we plumbed new depths each week.
