Yerp and we're taking the opportunity for a closer look at Diego Rosa as well. I'd like Bissouma but can't see how it works out with our squad numbers.

I love Bernardo so happier if he stays but should he go I want a fighter in the middle to replace him not another attacking player.

(I didnt get the Grealish for Bernardo point of view. I can only see Grealish for Sterling or Mahrez. Two seasons ago I'd have wanted Mahrez replaced, last season I wanted Sterling replaced... I still do despite his good Euros but happy to be wrong if he can perform at his best for us again.)

I also personally think that Silva was one of the reason we got that far in UCL last season. So we need to replace him with that kind of player. May be one of the 8's of Italy’s midfields. But playing with Grelish....Rodri... KDB....midfield can be backfired like previous ucl campaigns.

Yes and he was then dropped for the big games that really mattered at the end of the season. But we don't need to go into that here I'm not going to turn this into a Rodri thread.

We're linked to a holding midfielder, Fernandinho has just signed a new contract, I don't think suggesting Rodri could be on his way out to make way for it is anything unbelievable.

So, Fernandinho gets a 1 yr extension, because he’s the Captain and an excellent influence, and Rodri < Bissouma!

Any thoughts that the Sports Science guys may have had some influence on those late season games, or that Pep wanted his experienced Captain on the field, or that Rodri was carrying a knock no-one was talking about, or, or, or…?!

Awesome, would love to sign someone who can score such long range goals. Some of them were brilliant!
