Can't see this being true. If City want to sustained success. Going for expensive soon to be 31 year old footballers isn't the way.

I think Mancini and the club knows this and i trust them fully not to make a mistake like this.

While this is true, I wonder how much this is offset by the indirect commercial value a player of extreme high profile like Ibra has? Shirt sales, facebook 'likes' and other social media attention, sponsorship, image rights etc. Admittedly I don't know about the precise value of that stuff and what exactly benefits City rather than just the player, but I'd be interested.

Dzeko has done the same. As you see with the bosnians. Aguero is the same.....huge commercial attraction.

Ibra isn't worth it at this age the wages and fee...it wouldn't be worth it. The same rumours claim we will offer him 300k a week. Bullshit.

Oh No...................don't tell me it's Malcolm & Rodney all over again!
If this is a Roberto & Ibra love fest somebody please chuck a bucket of water on them!
Please say it isn't so!

Well overrated IMO
No one who's seen Ibra play enough to be capable of having an opinion calls him overrated.

He's top 3 in the world.

I almost totally agree with Zity9.

I just can't think of 2 better (or as good)?

Incredible footballer.

Although I don't believe the wage offer one iota I can see the logic in a straight swap with Tevez.

DailyFail says Mancini is after Ibra, City is making 29m bid for Llorrente and there is RVP story too.
Not mentioning Hazard. Tomorrow it will be Cavani.

Paying him anywhere near 300K per week would detrimentally affect the morale of our other players. I have no issue with the signing-on fee but his wages must not be obscene.

Insane wages, for sure. But if he signs he'll be the top earner in the squad, there are no ways around that.

Monster player on monster wages with a monster temperament. I don't see it happening at all.
Plus we've already got one in Adebayor. Personally I'd rather keep him than have that fruit loop sign for us.
+1

I agree with those saying keep Dzeko. I have this feeling that despite his lack of games he's very happy here and would want to stay. With the possible addition of Hazard and maybe another "winger" I can really see him knocking on the 30 goal door next year :)

Not true. Not happening. Never Happening. Not wanted. Not on the radar. Not who we are signing.

Is this from the same source that gives mancini as a "dead man valking" just a month ago tolmie ?
