Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Edin needs to toughen up a bit, he still gets bullied too easily for a man his size, if he could impose himself more, he could become an unplayable target man. But some defenders always seem to get above him and push him off the ball.

Ibra is a bitch to get the ball off, he is very strong and technically sound, that's why I think he's a better player than Dzeko but I'd also prefer to keep Dzeko just because of age/wages/upside.

cant see Bobby piling into a 30 year old for up front. What has Ibra really got left in him - perhaps 2 years at most before he looses half a yard or has to start diving like Drogba 1 second after he misses the ball.....Nah..........There are much better, younger strikers potentially available. They need to be 26-28 at most so we can get the best 2-3+ years from them

At the moment. Edin could with the right guidance be at the same level as Ibra.
How? by first touch? skill? goals? assists? leadership? strength? vision?

Well Jose Mourinho was looking to sign him before we did. Okay the price was steep but Edin has a quality about him. Zlatan has played in the Dutch League and City know about signing Strikers from there.

you may very well be right, but Ibra donr rely on pace. our style of play, dont rely on pace

we play a possesion tecnical centralized style of game, were we rarely try to get down the flanks in speed and crosses, but use the central part of the pitch to penetrate opposition defences.

To have Ibra in the middle of their defence would be absolutly devastating for the opposistion. just look how Tevez plays, or an even better example Balotelli when he made the assist for Aguero to win us the league, thats how we play, and thats why Ibra would probably be the best suited player on the market for us.

I'd love to see Ibrahimovic at City but do we really need to strengthen our forward line? We missed Tevez and Balotelli for much of last season and this was Aguero's first season so maybe we can get more out of our squad. Don't think it's always a good idea to buy players just because we can.

We should try and strengthen if exceptional players become available in other area, but our strikers are already amongst the best in the world. Certainly Aguero, Tevez and Dzeko are. Balotelli is still potential

Be good if this team could grow and develop together

Just saw this on BBC...

And Roberto Mancini's Premier League champions have also launched a bid for £25m-rated AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with the club reportedly ready to pay £300,000 a week to the 30-year-old Sweden international.
Full story: the Sun

No! Surely there are better prospects than Ibrahimovic? RvP, Cavani, Llorente - all better prospects IMHO.

Keep Dzeko , I think Zlatan is to old and has only halve the skill of Dzeko and Dzeko is better in the air, if we get Hazard and keep A.J . Play with more flanking wide play to get in behind other teams with more crosses in to the box, its simple but it will get goals , because we only scored 93 in the league this year , just not good enough ;)

really?

Dude I love Dzeko, and I'm not so sure about this Ibra thing, but really?

i laughed my ass off when i saw the reports that we were offering 300k a week...anyway, i don't know if i'd want to sign him up for 4-5 years at his age, especially considering we'll have to pay him tevez/yaya money.

but, there's an alarming amount of people who are grossly underestimating his value...the guy is one of the best in the world. people are acting like we're chasing down heskey or something.

how old is he 30 now maybe two/three years left, dont want him and the crazy wages being mentioned 300,000 forget it,although if he dropped his demands to say £300 then sign him up,other wise he can fcuk off...
