A lot of celebrations in Glasgow today, must be some feeling to beat all that competition and win only your 6th title in a row.

He’s just playing to the crowd, no one knows how Celtic or Rangers would do long term in the prem but short term they would struggle. Being a “big club” from a big city means nothing once you get in the English league. Every game is intense as the old saying goes there are no easy games.

Birmingham is a big city but their clubs haven’t done much for years, Newcastle haven’t won anything for god knows how long, and Leeds/Sheffield can’t get anywhere near

If they did somehow get into the PL, they'd be bought fairly quickly by someone (or a consortium) prepared to sink £200m into developing the squad.

Celtic are a far bigger club than Newcastle or Villa. They'd be a force in the premier league within a short space of time. Same goes for the rangers.

I don't see any way you can justify that statement.

As they are now no chance but IF they did get a backdoor admittance to the Prem, the money they would make IF spent on the team would make them a force.

Why would it make them a force. Over 20 teams have been getting that money for years and they are not all a force. Yes they have great support but they are winning. Let's see what their support would be like after 20 years winning fuck all and no Europe. My guess is not as good as Newcastles. They could even blow the money on duds and end up like Leeds
We will never know but it's not a given that if they were in the epl with the same money as everyone else they would be a force.
My guess is they would have a great first season like a promoted club often has. Still win fuck all and be middle table at best.
