Referees/Officials

It seems to be common consensus on here and amongst City fans in general that we are being done over by the officials, the FA and the PL and we get no support from the media. The belief is that the club management are putting pressure on in private but, this hasn't been confirmed. The manager has hinted about it in press conferences but, has said that he's been told not to question referees if he wants to avoid punishment. Two players have spoke out in public, Sagna being fined for a tweet and now Yaya has raised the question. Has fans we cannot be punished so we can say and do what we want. A few posters on here are saying that they have had enough and will not be renewing, a great shame that they are taking this extreme step, I can certainly understand it. Personally I will not be going to anymore FAC games until this unfairness is sorted out and will write to the FA to tell them why, I'm sure they wont give a shit but, if all City fans were to boycott the FAC next season then they might take notice, especially if we can get the City fans in the media involved to put our case in a fair way. Thoughts?

I am not sure how we address this effectively but I have no doubt we are being shafted, mainly in games it is really going to hurt us. I am sure it was Viera who came out publicly in 2012 about the same happening then and we benefitted. Ferguson was great at this. If you are being shafted, as we are, then what have you got to lose? It focuses attention and puts pressure on the officials and may make them think twice. I expect more of the same shit on Thursday.

The people that run football hate us ---why would they stop us being done over by officials---They want City to fail

I would gladly lose out on 4th place if we could do some sort of protest. if on Thursday the ref starts his antics I would encourage Pep to take the players off the pitch. forfeit the game if need be. we have to make a stand sooner or later. I will renew but there is no way I'm going to away games just to fucked over. 600 quid yesterday for a game that was decided before kick off and well away from the pitch.

Theres no solidarity in football. We'll just get ridiculed by other supporters and the press and told that every supporter thinks they're hard done by.

Every supporter needs refs to do better but very few will support us cause it's just not the done thing.

I hope the club has footage ready to send to Mike Riley and have his explain the very consistent inconsistencies.

Do it the right way. Don't make a song and dance about it. But do everything we can to let the authorities know we don't think it's acceptable.

If that fails rebuild B of the Bang and stick Rileys head on the top spike.

We need a visible protest during a high profile televised game. Something like tennis balls thrown on to the pitch at a predetermined time as has been used by other fan groups. The commentators would have to mention the reason why if we publicised it before the game e.g. by tweeting journalists. Maybe Yaya could put a tennis ball on every seat for the first five rows around the stadium :)

Something has to be done.
A banner for sure. Not sure it will have any affect mind as the FA/PGMOL have clearly declared war on us thus season.
Only the club going public - say in a pre-match presser - with accurate and telling statistics in a video with anoymised players and shirts will do the job I think.e.g.which of these is a foul? Which is a penalty? Which of these is a booking?

NOTE: I can't believe I'm saying this BTW. I've always been one for swings and roundabouts when it comes to bad refereeing decisions but this season and the games post 6-1 in the 2011/12 season are just shocking.

An FA cup boycott seems to me to be a bit pointless, after all it is Premier League games that we have been shafted in more than FA Cup.

I do agree though it is time that the club and the fans need to do something.

Getting everone to hold a red card up just prior to kick off...showing the red card to bent officials on Thursday would be a good if probably impossible thing to organise. The colour of the card and the opposition would send a message.

The media will twist the red cards as support for the Rags.

As for boycotting the FAC well correct me if I'm wrong but we haven't been drawn at home for a while so pointless.

A banner, a chant (but we don't sing anymore) may bring attention to our disgust but not officially the clubs disgust.

The club really need to be looking into this.

Howard Webb you fucking joke!

Somebody obviously had a word after his first set of opinions as he then changed his tune on both issues.
First up not a penalty as Pawson had to be sure Aguero was ankle tapped and apparently wasn't despite being 10 feet away with a crystal clear view. This changed to definite penalty but he could understand why it wasn't given, whatever the fuck that means.
On the ball crossing the line or rather not crossing the line. Firstly clearly the linesman thinks the ball is out so he's given it as a dead ball, tuff titty. When pointed out that the linesman was well behind play and couldn't possibly be a position to see if it was or wasn't out and had to have guessed i's become the wrong decision that the liner will be disappointed with thats cost City dearly.
Well he's not as fucking disappointed as I am the ****.

all complaints have to be away from the football industry which is proven to be corrupt, blater and platini, all the way through to cheating corrupt officials. I thought maybe a complaint to the race relations board, because of our muslim owners, with video evidence of all the cheating against us. a complaint to the police with evidence of this season might be also another place to go. maybe complaint to the court of arbitration in sport. maybe a group legal action against the fa by a group of fans as we are all victims of institutionalised CHEATING. BLEATING ON HERE IS GETTING US NOWHERE. FOOTBALL IS AND HAS BEEN PROVED TO BE CORRUPT. I know there a lot of highly intelligent motivated professional posters on here who could get something going

They don't care what City fans think----If they cared it wouldn't be happening in the 1st place

They don't care because we mildly accept it

The protest must be one cannot be ignored, If we have a banner or cards then it wont get publicity the TV will not show it. The treat of the boycott will get publicity image the empty stadium if we went through with it

They don't need us...It's easy for them to ignore our complaints

They do need us struggling to get a sponsor as its seems Emirates are not going to renew Just a threat of scandal will put any prospective sponsors off
