Can't remember the particular game but we lined up with a Gundogan-Silva-De Bruyne midfield in or around November, around the time he was trying to squeeze them all in.

Fernandinho was a pivot in that games, I'm sure. We probably sacrificed one winger to shoehorn them all.

There's a documentary regarding the events surrounding the song that is well worth a watch. Ignore the over the top YouTube branding, of course—some people are just crass, unfortunately.



Back on topic, I hope the rumours of Ederson signing today are true as I have a little riding on the transfer—it would make me like Mondays a bit more.

I would say more than likely yeah. No way they go into next season with just what they've got. I still think they could pull Bonucci out of the bag if their sense of intent so far is anything to go by.

Fernandinho started well but faded (his performance in Monaco was dire), Fernando can't play on the half turn and Gundogan hasn't featured there and has to recover first.
