Mourinho is building a very athletic and physically strong team. Especially their front line with Lukaku, Martial, Rashford and potentially Persic. All of them tall and physical players.

Compare that to ours: Jesus, Aguero, Sterling, Sane and potentially Sanchez. Not blessed with much height (other than Sane). Just find it interesting.

We have a much more talented bunch though. Which hopefully Pep will make count in our derbies.
Height wise yes Utd Mourinho is turning them into a team of giants

They have one player who really impressed me at the end of last season: Bailly. He just seemed to grow in confidence and was marauding forward. Missed the Europa League final

I think they are top 4 contenders now because they will give nothing away, but really I think they have made a mistake paying £100m for Lukaku. You need forwards with technique to open up defences and he is OK, but more than anything he is a supreme athlete. They are being linked with workaholics like Dier but who is going to provide the guile? No Rooney either. He was still able to provide moments of quality last season. They need a Cantona like player.

Come on, Lukaku is better than an average player. He'll be a decent signing, however I'm not convinced he's a £100m player. Given his goalscoring record over the last two seasons, in an average Everton team, you have to value him at £50m. Oh, and with two teams fighting for him, it should have gone to maybe £60m, but a deal worth £100m is nonsense.

Why are the rags getting all there players, and we are stuttering to buy ;)

Bailly is a quality central defender.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah.

Oh Christ this is funny.

Lukaku £90m. Because their last £90m player worked out so well?

Lukaku is good but inconsistent and suffers a serious lack of technical ability, and I say that as someone who watched over fifteen full Everton games last season. For that price you're looking at players in the world-class bracket and Romelu falls well short. His touch, passing and dribbling frequently fall short.

I find it interesting the vastly different approaches City and United take to transfers. City take a long time to get the lowest price possible while United basically go "fine" and pay whatever they're asked to because they have the money so they might as well. I'm pretty sure if they wanted Paulinho and were asked for £50m they'd pay it.

If I wad a United fan I would ve gutted that they spunked 100m on their 3rd choice striker..

They could have had Bony for 14m

On 5Live just now he was described as the " Belgian goal machine"............. a clear example how a players stock rises when he is bought for too much money by the rags
