When they are not good enough - which regardless of what some might tell you, isn't the case with Aguero.
People who try and tell myself and others that we can't keep Aguero because of sentementility reasons are patronising fuckwits.

You would keep him against his will?

I agree with your posts entirely. Who goes and who stays should be a long term, hard nosed footballing and/or financial decision. By all means respect them, hold them in affection, remember them for what they have done for us but holding onto them for sentimental reasons is financial and footballing madness.

It's not sentimental. Aguero is still the best attacker we have considering a combination of skill, experience and attitude and he still has at least 2 if not 3 world class seasons left in his career. Why you guys want to ship him because he's only worth sentimental value doesn't make sense.

I feel for those who don't appreciate what it is/was to be a City fan. It's so much more than winning/losing but that seems to be lost on many these days.
Never forget it pal. We always had a humility that those rag fuckers have never had and never will have.

If he wants to go. Sell him. May be just me though.
Are people just making things up for shits and giggles now?
Never has he intimated that he wants to go, regardless of what some supposedly itk's might tell you.

No. That would be as daft as your post.

You literally just said you would let him go only when he could no longer cut it. Now you are saying you WOULD let him go if he asked to leave.

I have not seen a single poster say that we should force Aguero out.

What were the first 4 points?

Key points on Mbappe and Man City's ongoing pursuit

1 - They absolutely want him and have made Monaco aware.

2 - They have known since before the end of last season that the fee would would be north of £100m

3 - That has always been considered steep - but they have refused to drop their interest, even as they pursue Alexis Sanchez

4 - They have always felt Real were favourites to land him, but still maintained pursuit

5 - They still hope he will reject Real and the lure of Guardiola will bring him to City

6 - If that happens, it will be for a world record fee

And nobody is calling for us to force him out either regardless of what you keep repeating.

I'm not saying he does. I'm saying if it gets to that point and for some reason, he tells us he wants to leave. Then do it.

I'll leave it at this, because I do think Pep is indifferent to Sergio?

As someone else quite rightly eluded to, Pep never seems to be particularly enthused when he speaks about Sergio?

Have you ever heard him speak about Sergio like Foden the other day?

I don't like it, but Sergio has certainly intimated to people that he thinks he might be off, but that was back in mid-May, and things do change all the time.

He's on the wane, no doubt about it, but he's hardly chopped liver.

Personally, I would sign Mbappe and leave him at Monaco for another season and have Sanchez, Aguero and Jesus as our main guys this season.

Sergio deserves his own Zabba moment.

Pep gets enthusiastic about good young players

But I've heard him being enthusiastic about Aguero 2 or 3 times last season after good performances

The question I answered was what would it take to let him go. I answered when he's not good enough anymore (which isn't the case as yet by a long shot)
Aguero himself asking to leave is a totally different argument. I'd respect his wishes because he deserves the respect of being allowed to leave if he felt it was time. (Which again, isn't the case as it stands)
