Christ, we'd be a laighing stock if we paid that price for Matic:


The fee will reportedly be in the region of £50m.

It will be the second time Mourinho has bought Matic.

The former Blues boss spent £21m to bring the player back to Chelsea from Portuguese side Benfica in January 2014.

Matic had been valued at less than £5m in January 2011 when he left Stamford Bridge as a makeweight in the deal for defender David Luiz.

The pair were keen to work together again, although it was anticipated a deal would have been done by now after Matic was left out of the Chelsea squad for their pre-season tour of the Far East.

I also agree. Although their style of play is boring as fuck they will be difficult to beat next season. Matic played nearly every game for Chelsea last season and they walked the league so I think Chelsea have messed up here. He will also free up Pogba to get forward and be more effective. Typical Mourinho team.

I remember Moyes saying soon after he joined the rags that there was no limit to the transfer budget and they'd be bringing in top players. Then he got snubbed by Fabregas, Sneijder and others before panic buying Fellaini.

Beeb already on message knocking the fee down to £40m. As with all United transfers no add ons, no agents fees, no image rights etc. Totally different approach to when they report our fees. No blinkers from me, I've not commented on the signing. What am I commenting on is you pretending to be a blue on the internet at 39 years of age. That's weird. There's no issue with you posting on here, but there is an issue when posters pretend to be a City fan when they're not.
