Been sunning themselves in Dubai all week, just like United.

I was surprised by their tactics in the game there last year, they stood off and never really pressed.

They will want to play on counter, but do we really need to win from the get-go?

I would hope we play them at their own game and counter quickly.

Hopefully Sane wakes up.

They don't have the defensive ability to attempt to sit back and counter. So as long as Delph is fit, we have the pace on the flanks to cut the counter attacks out and that tactic plays into our hands perfectly. If Delph is not fit we'll be relying on the first press stopping the counter before it starts and that's risky.

Many of these games between high pressing managers, particularly ones Klopp is involved in, come down to the midfields in the end, and if we can get our first choice 3 on the pitch, we will shit all over whichever trio Klopp puts out, which should mean us winning in the end.

I'm very nervous about it. Although I don't really think an invincible season is on the cards, coming away from Anfield unbeaten is the kind of thing that might make me start to believe.

I don't expect too many surprises, Salah to hit the spaces in behind Delph.

Big responsibility on Otamendi to shift across and cover, knowing the player is a bit like Robben, in terms of wanting to shift that ball out of his feet for a curling shot.

We absolutely must get a tune out of both Sane and Sterling this weekend or we will lose, they can do so much damage running inside their full-back positions.

The only other thing is to not play the occasion they will no doubt try to make it.

They can't touch our midfield.

Salah has had a groin strain - no guarantee he will start.

They will boo Sterling of course and they will boo Ederson "for getting Mane sent off." They might just about applaud Silva, though.

Will they fuck. If they booed us all game after we wore black armbands for hillsborough, there’s absolutely no way they’ll ever cheer one of our players. Scouse twats.

Think we’ll win quite easily, same as Spurs they think they can beat us. Look at their team and then ours and judge how many of theirs would you swap, easy as that 4-1 to us.

Our team has been superior to theirs for almost a decade now, but it seems they always get a result against us regardless of the form both teams are in. I can see this being our annual defeat unfortunately.

Jesus wept indeed!

Just when you thought it could not get anymore cringe worthy, he brings out a milk bottle with sand in it!

Don't think i have laughed so much in a long time.

They deserve to lose for this alone.

Oh yes.

As my wife noted, there's a single bed in the background.

I'd probably take a draw but a win would be a huge bonus both mentally and result wise. Not been a great place to go over the years. We need to shake Anfield off our back.

I expect they will have a minute silence before the game for the goalie that’s just died Tommy Lawrence. As usual all blues will respect it .

Always a hard ground for us to go to, but I think we'll get a win. Similar to Chelsea away I think. 1-0. Sterling.
